Context / scope

Overview and scope

A storefront for an electrical supply business, built on the ToolSwift commerce platform.

The routes in the code are home, about us, brands, shop, catalogue, product details, cart, checkout, order details, wishlist, resources with article pages, support and contact us.

Front-end developer. The CV lists integrated DTC e-commerce storefronts among the front ends built.

Results

  1. The CV records no result figures for this project, so none are stated.
  2. The storefront captures use invented products, prices and store details; brand names and logos are the project's own.

Behaviour / flows

Features and flows

Loading the cart drawer

  • The cart drawer loads after the first pointer, scroll or keyboard interaction.

Engineering / decisions

Architecture and decisions

Next.js 16 with React 19 and TypeScript, using MUI components with Tailwind CSS 4 styling and the shared Tailwind config.

Data is fetched with TanStack Query and held in jotai atoms. The resources section renders CMS content with Strapi's blocks renderer.

Payment configuration scoped to checkout

The storefront provider passes the full public configuration on the checkout route and clears payment-related entries elsewhere. This keeps those entries from reaching the shared provider on other routes.

Limits / notes

Known limitations

  1. The screenshots show the storefront interface; live maps and PDF generation are outside the captured walkthrough.
